Camille Wardrop Alleyne
“When you empower and inspire youth to believe in themselves and their capacity for greatness, they embrace their power to be the leaders of tomorrow - leaders who will create positive and lasting change in their communities and our world.”

THE BRIGHTEST STARS FOUNDATION
The Brightest Stars Foundation (BSF) is a 501(c)3 non-governmental organization that is dedicated to educating, empowering and inspiring young women to be future leaders through the study of science, math and technology.

Founded by Dr. Alleyne in 2007, the organization provides mentorship to young women from all across the world, equipping them with the tools needed to select careers in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and successfully matriculate through secondary and tertiary education in these fields. The organization has impacted the lives of thousands of young women globally.

Additionally, in March 2017 the foundation launched the "10,000 Girls" initiative established to empower girls throughout the Caribbean region to see their greatness and to know there is "no limit" to what they can achieve with hard work, determination and a belief in themselves.

In 2019, Dr. Alleyne was asked by the US State Department to mentor the Kyrgyzstan Satellite Girls - an eight-woman team building a one-kilo satellite that will be the country’s first foray into space and a way of showing the potential of girls and women to be leaders in STEM and space fields.
